Smilegate to Hold ‘CFS 2026 Grand Finals’ in Wuhan, China from November to December

Smilegate will hold the ‘CFS (CROSSFIRE STARS, CFS) 2026 Grand Finals’, the most prestigious tournament in CROSSFIRE esports, in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, from November 24 to December 6.
The slogan for CFS 2026 is ‘Fight as One’, representing players and teams, as well as teams and fans, coming together as one and moving forward. Smilegate plans to expand the event beyond matches played on stage by actively utilizing the CROSSFIRE I·P for a variety of online and offline events connected to the tournament. Through these initiatives, the company aims to develop the tournament into a global esports cultural festival that can be enjoyed together with the people of Wuhan.

This year’s tournament will be the largest in CFS history, with the number of participating teams increasing to 18. Ahead of the Grand Finals, Smilegate will hold ‘CFS PATH’, the CFS qualifying competition, from September through early November across China, Brazil, Vietnam, Southeast Asia (SEA) and EUMENA. Teams will receive stage seeds for the CFS Grand Finals based on their CFS PATH results.
The 18 teams competing in the Grand Finals will consist of 17 regional qualifiers from CFS PATH and one champion from the ‘Baixing League’. Regional slots have been allocated to five teams from China and three teams each from Vietnam, Brazil, EUMENA and Southeast Asia. China secured an additional slot after Baisha Gaming won EWC 2026 in August.
In addition, the champion of China’s CROSSFIRE amateur league will receive a separate berth and begin its campaign in the opening ‘Play-in Stage’. This marks the first time an amateur league champion will compete at the CFS Grand Finals, with the first international showdown between professional and amateur teams expected to become a new highlight of the tournament.
Meanwhile, CFS marks its 13th anniversary this year as the premier competition in CROSSFIRE esports.
